The  Hicks Family live in Notting Hill in Central London.  Here in the big smoke its easy to forget how beautiful nature is.  But sometimes a trip out of town into the countryside or a fall of snow interrupts the busyness of city life.  Beauty breaks back into our lives and thrusts the mundane aside. Pictures only capture a glimpse of those moments, but perhaps as well as reminding us of our moments of refreshment, they will remind you of your own.
